Mina Fürst Holtmann is an alpine ski racer from Norway. She started skiing at the age of two years and has been skiing ever since. She started her international career in 2010 and had her World Cup debut in 2015. Since then she competed in 49 World Cup races and achieved her first World Cup podium with a 2nd place at the World Cup GS in Courchevel (FRA) in 2019.

1. Favorite Marker Binding
My favorite Marker binding is the Marker Comp 20.
2. Why?
I like it because the binding is not that aggressive so the ski doesn’t turn right away, which is something that I like.
3. Why do you like being a part of the Marker team?
I like being a part of the Marker team because they have the best bindings.
4. How long have you been riding for Marker?
I have been riding for Marker since I was 10 years old.
5. What age did you start skiing?
I started skiing when I was two years old. I really loved it so I joined a ski club when I was seven years old and have been skiing ever since.
My biggest breakthrough in my ski career must have been my Junior World Championship gold in Downhill 2015, or 9th place in Semmering season 2018/19.
7. Favorite Place to ride
My favorite place to ride is no doubt Kvitfjell Ski Resort. I also love Courchevel, St. Moriz, and backcountry skiing in the Norwegian mountains.
8. Your Best Ski Trip you have done
Our training camp in New Zealand and backcountry skiing in Jotunheimen, Norway.
9. Ski destination where you haven’t been and would like to go?
Canada and Japan.

11. What do you do when you are not skiing?
I am studying illustration, surfing, playing card games with my teammates, drinking tea, traveling to places I haven’t been to yet, seeing my friends and family.
12. How do you train to keep in shape for skiing?
I am doing strength training, intervals, biking, and lots of alternativ training such as surfing, tennis and yoga.
13. What can’t you live without
Tea and my sister.

It is hard to choose between Courchevel, St. Moriz and Soldeu, Andorra. I love them all.
