The top racers have the choice between two binding series with specific technologies: X-CELL and XCOMP. This makes it possible to get the race binding that fully supports your individual style and preferences.


When it comes to DIN 24 and DIN 18 race bindings, both X-CELL and XCOMP deliver. The primary difference is underneath the toe piece, with a difference in screw pattern which has a major influence on stiffness, directness of feel, power transmission and shock absorption. 


On one hand there is the two piece X-CELL toe with 4 mounting screws. It transmits forces very directly from the boot to the snow surface. On the other hand there is the Xcomp series with a 3-screw mounting pattern, modified absorbers and a Teflon gliding plate. This adds up to a slightly more damp feel with more shock absorption, and allows the ski to flex naturally. The Xcomp is the preference of many of our top athletes, with its more forgiving racing performance.


Both X-CELL and Xcomp toes are equipped with the X-CELL piston technology to absorb impacts and keep the boot centered in the binding at all times.

Toes and heels of all X-CELL bindings bring together several features, creating a complete package of functions, leading to improved control and power transmission, easier turn initiation, and faster times! Here’s why:

X-CELL toe

The construction delivers direct power transmission, more precise steering and improved ski control. The unique X-CELL piston damper absorbs short impacts and keeps the boot centered in the binding.

XComp technology

Xcomp bindings deliver what most top athletes demand: slightly reduced stiffness, smoother performance and a less direct feel in terms of power and shock transfer. They are more forgiving as the skier approaches the limit and provide more comfort in icy, bumpy conditions without any loss of steering precision. In addition, all Xcomp models have a one piece toe mounting with modified absorbers and proven X-CELL dampening technology. This creates a smoother ride, the perfect ski flex and total control in critical situations. Magnesium sole holders and a Teflon AFD round out the racing setup.

XComp toe

The Xcomp toe consists of one main section and is mounted as one piece. Modifications in shock absorbance and reduced stiffness give the ski a more natural and harmonic flex as well as a more smooth, forgiving performance.  Also, the teflon AFD provides a smoother interface between boot and binding. Of course, the Xcomp is equipped with the unique X-CELL damping piston to absorb impacts and keep the boot centered in the binding.

X-CELL heel

16 mm of elastic travel, good vertical energy absorbtion and strong vertical power deliver power before the release and an optimized performance band. This gives the skier confidence to push the limits. Wider connection points offer improved, very direct and responsive power transmission.
