Øystein Bråten and Jennie-Lee Burmansson take Top spot at the FIS World Cup Slopestyle Event in Stubai, Austria.
It was an impressive event with Voelkl Marker Dalbello team riders Øystein Bråten winning the men’s event and Jennie- Lee Burmansson winning the ladies. The FIS World Cup Slopestyle was held on the Stubai Glacier in Austria and was the first slopestyle event in the Northern hemisphere.
Jennie- Lee is only 15 years old and having placed 3rd at the last event in Cardrona New Zealand, this is her first big win as it was only her 2nd World Cup slopestyle start. She has no doubt a very promising future ahead of her.
With the focus this season being on the Olympics all these events are very important in the lead up to PyeongChang, South Korea.
The Stubai’s terrain park is known for being one of the biggest, most progressive and highly regarded slopestyle courses in the world and was a great venue for the contest.
