Unlike inexpensive plastic or Teflon AFDs, the performance of Marker's exclusive Integrated Stainless Steel AFD is virtually unaffected by dirty or worn boot soles, negative sliding friction, outdoor temperature variations, combined load forward and backward twisting falls, or the skier's downward weight on the AFD. Junior models feature a unique fully active AFD.
